Danwei founded ModaX Consulting to channel her passion for leveraging technical expertise and commercial insights to help clients navigate complexity and unlock opportunities. Danwei last worked as an experienced director at Deloitte, and prior to joining Deloitte, she worked as an actuarial data analyst for the federal government. With over 9 years of experience, Danwei has a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions that drive results.
Throughout her career, Danwei has led numerous projects spanning forecasting, scenario planning, and financial modelling. Notable achievements include developing a digital heatmap for the state government to optimise infrastructure corridor planning, creating predictive models for infrastructure and FMCG clients to forecast business volumes and demand, and building financial models across sectors such as mining, education, utilities, and government. These initiatives have empowered organisations to make confident, evidence-based decisions in planning, policy-making, and strategic investments.

Danwei holds a Masters of Finance degree and a double degree of Bachelor of Commerce and Economics from UNSW. Danwei is a Fellow of the Actuaries Institute of Australia (FIAA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA).
